The Mineral Fire is a wildfire burning in Coalinga Mineral Springs, west of Coalinga in Fresno, California in the United States. The fire was first reported on July 13, 2020 and has since burned an estimated 23,500 acres (9,510 ha) and is 30 percent contained. The fire is threatening the communities of Los Gatos Creek Road from Indian Springs to Union Carbide Road and Bingham Springs. It has resulted in the mandatory evacuations of Los Gatos Creek Road and Bingham Springs and has led to the complete closure of Interstate 198 from Firestone Ave. to the Monterey County Line.
